Conceptual Statement
Our goal is to present the possibility of Virtual World in future. My team had planned to present this idea through making a short film because, through the film, our ideas can present directly and clear with the message that we have. Our short film will be a futuristic film, which including many effects to make it looks like living in future. Since our goal is based on presenting the effects, the story that we have is simple, it is not a story that will impress people. The reason that we make the script simply is that we want to show the message of how future looks like base on daily life. But even though the simple ideas that we have for the script, it is huge space that we can expand our creativity. We started off with thinking the possibility of the technology that can happen in the virtual world. First, we think that in the future, there will be no more physical screen, which will replace a projector device. Projector device is a technology that already exists nowadays, such as Projector keyboard, which the projector will show a digital keyboard and it can you can type it through it. (creamer, 2012). This is a technology that our team wants to use it in the short film, and it shows that there will be no more physical screen in the future, and replaced it by using a digital hologram. The hologram is also a technology that exists nowadays, but the to push it to the other level, our ideas is to have a three-dimension hologram, which doesn’t not a board for the projector shows it. The second ideas that we want to put are teleportation. Teleportation is something that human that human always dreaming of, it can travel to another location in a really short time (Ward, 2017). The reason that we want to have teleportation in the Virtual World because we want to set out the limitation, and achieve the dream that human always wants to have.

But to make it realistic, we are keeping the physic in the world, which tries to keep simple and not too magical. Our purpose of doing it is because we want the people in the virtual world to have the same feeling of living in the real world but at the same time to surpass the technology that exists nowadays. And we don’t want the audience to find out that story is based on a virtual world at the until at the end of the story. We want the audience think that the living in a virtual world, can be as realistic as living in the real world.
In short, the ideas that we want to present is showing the possibility of the future technology in reality, and at the same time through the storyline and the effect, we want to make it looks realistic, so to match the purpose that my team has at the very beginning.
