Studio 5 beginning

Garden is something that we often can see around the environment, but we did not release the potential of it can do. In our group, we want to expand the creativity to the idea of a garden, and try to put the idea of Garden to another Level.

Our main goal is to create an environment that majority is to release stress for human, and there will be some add-on to make the atmosphere to become more ideal.

New Direction

So my group has changed had decided to go in a different direction, which is making a physical project, it will require a new research so to understand deeper of the criteria. So I looked up on the internet to research the how does technology make us being addictive to it. And there are some media that is significantly influencing our daily life.

Technology such as the Internet and mobile phones offers considerable promise for affecting the assessment, prevention, and treatment of and recovery from substance use disorders. Technology may enable entirely new models of behavioral health care within and outside of formal systems of care. This article reviews the promise of technology-based therapeutic tools for affecting the quality and reach of addiction treatment and recovery support systems, as well as the empirical support to date for this approach. Potential models for implementing technology-based interventions targeting substance use disorders are described. Opportunities to optimize the effectiveness and impact of technology-based interventions targeting addiction and recovery, along with outstanding research needs, are discussed

With apps like Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, we can stay in touch with people around the world 24 hours a day. For some, this can lead to excessive use and negative consequences. Accessing these apps easily and using them frequently can trigger a fear of missing out – people can be anxious about missing something if they’re not constantly connected.

Timeline

The team has agreed to create an interactive Garden. In order to achieve the goal, it is important for us to create a timeline so we can set a schedule for each person to follow.

We have 4 people on a team, and we have different skill so we separate 4 task to each person. To separate the task can help us finish the task efficiency.

Music Task

Since I can’t really do coding, so the only way that I can contribute to my team is just helping them to achieve that they need. My team member had figured out the code of playing music when you touch the plant, so I need to find 24 soundtracks for 8 plants and to apply in the different part of the plants. And to keep the audience won’t get bored with the sound, I need to trim to approximately 3-5 second and using a different style of sounds. However I never learn how to use any software to deal with sound, so I just use Adobe Preimere to cut the music.

Set up the project

Since we had set a fake deadline, so had started preparing the set up for the final. Hopefully, the plants will not die until the day we present lol.

We are still figuring out the coding for some function on the floor. Since we aren’t sure can use it at the end, we had made a backup plan, which is a short video to show our ideas to the audience,
